A few more questions I would like you guys to take a stab at.
1. Why do we see international tenders for wheat at 350 to 400 per tonne off the west coast and we settle for 4.50 a bushel?
2. Why do farmers and the public in general think that the market should drop our income in half or less? Do you think any worker gets less year after year?
3. Gas and diesel prices never go down even though crude market is down??
4. Does any employee government or private sign a contract for employment and wait three months for a paycheck??
5. Why do ag input retailers force you to prepay for everything and we wait 6 months after the fact for our product payment?
6. Why are farmers told to build enough storage for two years of crop and input dealers won't buy enough fertilizer storage for a week?
7. Why do we prepay our freight rates? Think about that one.
8. Is it time to start doing things differently??And how??
