I recognize it is early still, but given what your snow situation is, and
what the precip. patterns have been in your area, is it looking dry for
you all? Went to saskatoon a couple weeks back. I was SHOCKED. Humboldt
had at that time maybe only 60% snow cover, Saskatoon 10%. Is there good
moisture reserves in your area?
My report would be that we went from 100% snow cover to maybe 60% these
last few days. Our high yesterday was 8, the warmest it has been since
October sometime.
Anyway, we as usual, have more than enough moisture, should be a pretty
fair runoff. If we can avoid a few rains and a late snow dump, we are
shaping up to finally be back to normal. Normal meaning moist, not
saturated.
What does it look like out there? Drought coming to fix our
transportation woes, and our bin building plans??? lol
