Well finally our area got going on Monday, and by last night the ground was actually nice to seed into. Mud yes but you can move and not be sitting on pins and needles.
Were at 12% completed. So far the peas are in the ground and starting on HRS.
Most in area got going on Tuesday or Wednesday.
One guy has started his canola but most are seeding wheat. The ground is at 4 degrees and that's cold. Lots of fires in area as guys burn quarters black to dry out.
No one is spraying a burn off yet due to very cold nights. Very little if anything is growing.
So far their is no shortage of any fertilizer. Ammonia has been on time.
Be safe the rain event starts Sunday by the look of Environment Canada.
