Well for our area it finally was a first nice start to seeding then what happens every year when the snow finally leaves a week in it rains. Well late Sunday night the rain hit and not with a tenth or two no we get over a inch. Some welcome the rain we curse it.
We were able to get to 43% last night. Yesterday was the start up after the long weekend rain on Mon and Tuesday. Most in the area are at close to same level. One or two real small operations did finish.
Moisture levels are approaching to wet. Sloughs are starting to join again and little water runs have running water.
Burn off seems to have been started only yesterday since it was to wet to seed. Sprayers were going everywhere. Late in the afternoon seeders were starting up.
Fertilizer so far their has not been one single event in our area of a fertilizer shortage or people waiting for Ammonia etc. I think it was all Bull shit to jack the price.
Today most will be going and going hard as the forecast doesn't look promising for sat to wed.
Be safe it looks like June here we come.
