The Terminals are telling us not to worry about the grades and specs of our grain, it's the price that matters. Ultimately it is the price that matters but do they use that same argument when they ship it to their customers? So if an end user orders #2 13.5 px CWRS and they ship them #3 12.8 px CWRS, does it matter?
I may not be the sharpest knife in the drawer but really feel like we are treated like idiots. Delivering Durum and they had an independant graded hired because there own staff didn't want to work Satutday. Saturday the HVK was nothing less than 90% today its about 70%. I had this grain officially graded as well. It makes them look incompetant then you have to fight with the marketing rep because "its not coming in as per sample". SIGH!!
