So the CWB is using my equity, my fathers and grandfathers to buy into the western Canadian grain market.
What is the book value, good will, etc value of the CWB?
They have offices, employees, shopping, and are now buying and building grain terminals? Now the kicker ..... Sell to the CWB and they will convert those tons into shares.....bull shit!
Anyway locals around those terminals that the CWB owns, who deliver will gain ownership and control of CWB because of the competitive advantage of local, low freight deliveries whether they support CWB or not, while all others would pay higher freight or not be able to deliver to other competitor terminals (viterra, richardsons etc) how many tons did they the CWB move through competitor terminals, and how well did that really work? Obviously not well at all if this is the direction and strategy going forward. Seems they aren't offering any real price discovery,or advantage, or maybe I'm wrong?
I know, your just glad to have marketing freedom. I wonder class action? They use retained earnings, fund contingency accounts, and who really knows what else or how much? Any way I can write my share loss off, get a receipt?
Any idea what the value could be on a per acre basis, or per farmer?
I guess I should be quiet and just be happy, just saying...
