Seems the cold wet spring isn't having any effect on crop eating pests. Have had some flea beetle damage, cutworms taking some plants down in canola seeded on pulse stubble and now have seen grasshoppers clipping off red lentils along some roadsides. This all after 4 plus inches of rain in the last 2 weeks. Aphids and seedpod weevil should be next followed by bertha and diamond backs. Should be able to shut the sprayer down by December! You gotta love farming.
