Here in Tom country.
Wheat basis $70 ish per tonne. Old and new.
Canola $30-40/tonne.
Producer cars now at $40 for wheat.
I have a home for half my wheat crop.
Question is. What basis to expect or accept moving forward. And for what time period.
Line companies telling me to accept $70 until at least spring 15. I call BS, but I don't like not having a home or a plan.
I wonder if $40 will look good for winter delivery?
When might the terminals get there? What could make them get there?
How much wheat do you guys really think is left out there? I don't think there's gonna be a lot left here. Hi pro anyway.
Thanx for opinion.
