    Excessive rain and crop production

Check out the lastest map from Ag Canada. Is it accurate for your area?
    <a title="Precipitation totals" href="http://www5.agr.gc.ca/resources/prod/doc/pfra/maps/nrt/pr_gs_ac_s_e.pdf">Precipitation totals</a>
    My take:
    Brown/Tan - need rain now
Orange/Yellow - doing ok, could use a rain
Greens - Wet to really wet, might turn out
Blues - Excessive, suffering to wiped out

Much of this past week end rain came on top of areas that were already the wettest.

THis really paints the picture of the rain issues. Some areas need more rain. We have had about 4 inches on our farm in SW Sask and things look good. CAnola around Kindersley, to answer SF3 question is also pretty good. Was patchy but seems to be filling in nicely. Kyle area crops are sweet, but some locallized flooding in Rosetown or Milden apparently. THis crop is going to be very variable come harvest. Looks like nice heat for rest of week. Havent been to Regina yet, probaly later in week.

Thanks Dave! Heading home to Regina seems every road is blocked. So a two hour drive will be 4. Water is a bad thing when their is to much.

Hope a week of heat does wonders.
