We get good service and rate from aerial. We calculate the ruts, damage to crop and possibly spreading disease on wheels. After a certain point, we think the crop is too far ahead to float and conditions are crappy. The fertilizer sprayed on is a bit of an experiment but the crop is so lush and showing signs of fertilizer deficiency with all this moisture. Variable terrain, sloped to creek with a wide low bottom on one field. We all have those lowlands where we hold our breath, but the wings on my ground sprayer are safe parked in the shed.

HRS is in swollen boot stage. Small amount of leaf disease showing up. We put .75 rate Folicur on this week on most fields. We had to pull out of one field on account of wet conditions.
Planes are busy in the area. Mainly flag leaf.
Early canola at 10 percent bloom. We will apply Rovral flo soon along with some foliars.
Annual ryegrass is heading. It's starting to look quite good and we are getting excited about it. We've grown perennial before, but this plant is different.
Hay crop is heavy. Putting up hay is just heavy on my heart/mind.
Can't move the cows fast enough to keep pastures vegetative. A good problem to have.
I want to say, we are lucky. For those of you that have lost crops or worse, we are thinking of you. I know that is little compensation. But . .

Any barley in this area looks shitty. What is wrong with barley these days? Varieties? Hrs out yields it consistently here.

Local peas looking like they need to be sprayed with glyphosate. But variable. Mine are last planted so in a class of their own growing like mad but need best thing would be not one drop of rain. I am thinking days are numbered cause the are at the stage and think there was more plants there before some maybe have succummed to tomething. Local barley is still looking worse daily even after some sun. Canola fields some that are bolting very very open canopy. My
smallplants 90percent purple. Wheat appears
holding best but variable. The half I sprayed half
rate for tanspot is still looking very bad. Seems
more moisture stress on those fields. Anyways
wheat is variable for everyone. Many now are mudding in the last of the chemicals. 15mm forecast for tomorrow afternoon. No one wants it here.

Actually disaster assistance is availlable here for flooded basements. We have water again. House built in 65 few years ago first time ever seepage. Actually still remember drilling that hole in the concrete and the water shot up. Everyone was already busy so could get no help. I cut 6inch by 4 foot pockets in the concrete then tunnelled the 3 feet between pockets so to get the water to the sump. Probably a better job than any of them assholes making a fortune doing their fixes. So was glad they were all busy. Was not a hard job and did not take long at all.

Ahhh risk management.
Braveheart... Another life... Brings back memories of our past... 15 years like a morning fog burning off on a hot summer day.
We fought, It was worth the fight.
We were on the right side of history in my heart I believe. courage or passion weren't wasted, I See... our goals valid.
Jobs well done.... As our children will need to, learn to build, on the blocks of courage in place to an opportunity to grow better lives around our farms.
A good crop of opportunities on the way...
Life is never dull...bwe can count on the unexpected by some... Being the opportunity of the year for our family.
Cheers
God bless you all... May Wisdom guide your way.
Prosperity is always preceded by a wise conservative plan.

Tom, it was another life, and different time. There were sacrifices and costs. But I still believe the time was an investment. The return is the opportunities we have today.
Good to hear from you. How are your crops?
