    Breadwinner,
First question: Do you have non-GMO canola to sell?

The farm (which would be the official payee) has an excellent payment record, extending back over 40 years. If you have grain to sell, call me and I'll settle any worries you have.

We do business honestly. I'm not sure what has prompted your mistrust.

Roger, I didn't mean you were a Troll. I meant you had thrown out a line, hoping for a bite. Verb, not noun, eh.

Yes I do and I'm just gun shy after being screwed by the likes of big sky farms. Always better to be aware of the risks of selling to mon bonded companies.

Braveheart - No problem - Have a great day!

Breadwinner: We can arrange to pay you right on the scale for the regular GM modified price, provided that the canola would pass the strip test we do on-farm, adjusted for dockage.
We would want to also test a sample that you could send us before shipment to confirm the level of GM modified.
Then, the load would have to be tested by a laboratory to confirm the level of non-GMO. Once we have the official test results confirming it's OK, we can take the canola out of the quarantine bin and pay the full premium.

I hope this helps put your mind at ease.

We can also give you trade references to check. As far as I am aware, in 40 years of operations, the farm has NEVER left a valid bill unpaid.

Feel free to call me at 403-970-8623 to chat, or email me at rfoster@purecoldpressedoils.com.

            Thank you.

Farmer can use accounts receivable insurance to qualify a new buyer and then insure the transaction against default.
The business world frequently uses A/R insurance as a risk management tool to grow their sales .
Oh, yeah....we are talking about farming here, not business.

So what we are seeing here are consumers so blinded by ideology and faith that there is no reasoning with them on any issue. They will only buy and eat what they want to buy and eat. How novel.

But wait it must be famers and ranchers so blinded by ideology and faith that there is no reasoning with them on any issue.

Or is it the media who is so blinded by ideology and faith that there is no reasoning with them on any issue.

Nope - that was the old media now wasn't it oneoff. Don't be silly --- admit it --- Your thoughts are also based on stuff that is so blinded by ideology and faith that there is no reasoning with them on any issue.

Or do you think that your thoughts, and ultimately reality are made up of something besides your beliefs?

Cause believe it or not your science stuff is also so blinded by ideology and faith that there is no reasoning with them on any issue.

Okay I need to stop --- this is getting confusing for the computer that sits on my shoulders that is simply storing data and experience to explain our sense of reality --- kinda like yours oneoff. LOL

Roger who? What company? What farm? Where is the plant located?Who are the principles? I suppose you are going to answer back with, " Do you have non- GMO Canola to sell?" you won't answer the questions. I have to know who I am selling to, sorry not born today.

                      Sum,

                      Roger Foster
Pleasant Valley Oil mills, owned 100% by Pleasant Valley Colony
                      Clive, AB

I have been hired to do the marketing for the plant.
I'm not sure of who the principles are on the paperwork, but if it concerns you, I'll find out.

I just hope that you have non-GMO canola for sale.

This colony is very, very, very financially secure, and I'd say less of a risk to sell to than pretty much any farm you can find. Colonies don't just go bankrupt on a whim.

                      Cheers,
                      Roger

Roger, I for one welcome you. Your honesty of opinion regarding GMO is refreshing. EVERY new market idea demands the light of day. If I choose to sell to you, I will do my diligence.
What the hell is this site good for anyway?
Do not for a second concern yourself with the true "trolls". There are those who have been self flagellating for so long all they see is fire and brimstone. Leave them in their rut, more fresh air for the rest of us.
                        Welcome and Good Luck

They can go bankrupt just like any business can, in fact our local colony went bankrupt in 1985. Left allot of unpaid accounts, now they look really strong but that can change. I welcome all new markets, I still like to know the risk. Thank you for adding some names to your venture. Having a name and location takes allot of the worry of unscrupulous business off my mind. Good luck and hope it is a success.

We had a colony here go under as well. Members had big gambling problems. Alcoholism was rampant. Another colony has taken over to right the ship. It can happen.
