Yeah ritz might as well have got rid of agristability with his changes in margin calculation shitty farmers now have the same margins as good ones.

I thought they rounded up and shot all the shitty farmers......for the greater good of the province of course.
Thankfully there are some super farmers who enjoy flooding, late deliveries, lower prices, piña coladas and long walks on the beach.

I thought it was funny how no one from the Feds made a peep when we were flooded! But why help farmers when you have to show a balanced buget to show Trudeau your actually in control! We're taken for granted again! Piss poor grain service in easy sask do to shitty railway and grain companies and fed inaction now flood and still don't give a f$&k! Maybe Trudeau isn't that bad! Goodale will win in my riding anyway!

No business should be put out of business because of unnatural weather events.

Maybe he read people boasting on here about making half $million plus profits and reckons they should be self supporting?

Some Govt's are supporting other industries using tax payers money.

                Right or wrong?

Posters on here better get use to Trudeau.

The current Reform/Alliance/CPC are toast,Duffy will make sure of that. Harper picked him so he can go down with him. Two of a kind anyways!!

Besides, other than getting rid of the CWB (which the jury is still out on that one) what else has Ritz Cracker done for Agriculture?

You Alberta boys sure know how to pickem. I bet Bluepowder you must be proud of your provincial Tory's. I hear you and the rest of the boys wrote personal cheques for Redford and her daughter's worldy trips.

So some here are saying they are unhappy with Ritz's response to the flood. But you're not saying what you want? Direct payments? Agri Recovery? Agri Stability advance payments?

Just bemoaning govt response is easy and as seen above is a waste of time. What do want for policy?

I guess if you look at what happened in 2010 there is a precedent as to what they could do.

What pisses me off is that statscan keeps calling saying they are using the information to develop programs.

I asked what for, the government has gutted all the farm programs and they haven't studied the effect of what happened in 2010 or 2011 or they would know what to do in 2014.

The reason ag gets supported is that if you lose a business cycle you can't get it back, period. The majority of other businesses the work will still be there.
The only other one is snow removal.
