After being blessed with huge crops for so many years in a row like central AB has you completely lose the ability to relate to those who have suffered flooding losses. There is a saying that one man's dead is another man's bread and nowhere is that more true than in western Cdn Ag. The flooding losses are giving those who have a crop a price for their grain. If there was a bumper crop again commodity prices would be around 0.

Wish I could be of help Tom, been there done that,It isn't easy. Hopefully he won't linger too long. It doesn't seem fair but lots of things aren't far or just apparently.

All the twists and turns of lack of compassion; turning to deep sympathy ; following an agriculture minister who has gutted more than his fair share....doesn't always seem to have any consistency.
And that nasty and closer "Cheers" doesn't die easily; does it.
Maybe Tom will be able to continue to swing his influence with a new Liberal ag minister.

he can't see how hateful of fellow farmers you have become!
GEES SF3, Go and read some of your past threads. You might not be hateful of all fellow farmers, but you sure sound hateful of everyone else. Fertilizer dealers, fuel suppliers, politicians, 1 Earth, Chinese investors, etc etc, etc. CWB, CP, CN, its all through your threads almost constantly complaining about your problems.
Now I will go and kiss my ass as I am sure you've told others to do that.
