Hail adjusting! Head office memo! No settling till harvest!

We'll well we'll, get hail July 5 th takes plants down to SFA! Some one at head office decides the farmer might get 15 after and they're a decision to defer instead of paying!
And some wonder why I complain !

I find that post hard to understand. Are you saying they're not writing it off 100% beacuse they think there is something salvageable? And now they're going to make you wait til harvest to see.

Company trying to save money and Producer maybe had something else in mind to prepare for 2015 or seed fall rye or winter wheat. Duke it out, don't be to quick to sign off. Are you insured by more than one company? Play them.....

You're talking straight hail or crop insurance? I had hrs wheat headed out get chopped to 6" on July 12 and they are saying the same thing with straight crop insurance. There are a couple tillers left and they say it will regrow. If it does it will be 10 bushels of feed in late October. Crap.

Hard to believe their doing that. I'd be real pissed.
Two years ago had moderate storm on peas. 3 months later SFA to adjust. Maddening.
What's their adjustment if you wanted to bale?

Take them to arbitration or to court that is the only way to do business with private hail when you have a claim of any significance.

                    Municipal

SF3, that's a crock. Is it Municipal? Line companies are good to deal with, in my experience.

It was on peas, canola, flax, lentils! Paid on wheat, barley and oats! Soy we had no claim.
