Putting fats back on tomorrow! If you get stuck the 4 wheel drive tramps way more! When it's this wet we adapt! It's awfull but even if we have to harvest when the ground freezes we get it done! Mud is a dud!

Just over a 1/3 finished here. All peas done.. Lentils remain miserable to get off but we managed to get 2/3 of those off before this last rain of 1.6" .. Canola all swathed and ready to pickup.. Looks excellent .. 2/3 of durum ready to straight cut and 1/3 will have a some very minor frost damage if it freezes in the next 7-10 days. Overall crop yields are good to excellent but quality is becoming very difficult to maintain

                      Now that Friday is done..
Showers every night between 6 and 9 - nothing major like the south - but still a pain in the ass.
Wheat starting to down grade for some guys
Peas mostly done - from write offs to 50 plus.
Canola so far from reports in the 40's the odd 50 plus. Some will be in the 20's - disease.
No big disease issues in wheat samples to off grade yet other than some very low protein , yield loss from some fields in the 15 bus range not sprayed with fungicide.
Still greenish crops localy that were seeded late - north of here is too green and late with frost coming after full moon - yes grrr it will happen.
Wheat not drying much b/c of heavy dews and nightly showers but still manageable 15-16mt
                      Early canola below 10 mt

Peas - 40% off last year
                      Canola off 25% last year
Wht just coming off - close to last year's yield - but quality is about to vary tremendously.
