winter wheat

I know it is getting late but can winter wheat still be seeded this week and have it survive?

forgot to add that it is to be seeded into wheat stubble from last year that was seeded to lentils this year but the lentils diseased out due too much moisture.

Our thirty year experience growing winter wheat says go for it.
Sprayed out and reseeded three times when dry falls caused seed to sprout then mildew and mould and not enough moisture to keep going.
Early snow and no opportunity to harden off caused poor survival twice.
If other conditions are right, would not be too concerned about late seeding.

That's our problem"Too much moisture". Am going to try it tomorrow and see what happens, thank's for the replies.
