    Rain >:-(

Was woken by the sound of rain on the roof at 4 a.m. today, where the hell did this come from? Was just about to start a half section of heavy wheat swaths today, now I hope it dries before the next event. Looked like Manitoba got their rain yesterday....

Same thing here, NE of Regina. Rained lightly for over 1/2 hour at 4 am. Got up and am having a bowl of ice cream to drown my sorrows.

Pour some Irish Cream, or something like it, over top to help. A little early for that but hey......

Bowl of Ice Cream and Butter Brickle Ah life is good.
Rained or spit yesterday for most of the day. Swaths north of valley were damp and standing was no better. Canola back tough. Didn't turn on the radar yet but know we got something by the texts. Nice weather forecasting Environment Canada. Some one put that talking tom on here. Its so funny. I'm Going to Plenty wood.

Rain, rain go away. Come again some other day --- as in end of May 2015.

              Lucky it wasn't 41/2 inches.

2/10s around 11:00 last night.. Thunder crashing and lots of lightning.. Then I realized it was Sept 20th. I have never seen or remember that much banging and crashing in late September. strange for sure

One hell of a light show from the combine cab, the main one just went south of the B'fords. A smaller one just north west. Odd for this time of year with cool temps

I went right overtop of the combine at about 10pm. The lightning was so intense I was worried about getting welder's flash as I drove back to the trucks. @#$#@ crazy!
Ended up with 7mm at the yard.

Standing Durum tested 16 yesterday, today won't come off 19. Joy to the world!

This harvest may never get done at this rate.

                            Canola here might go tomorrow.
Hopefully wheat again by Tusday. Just in time for a forecasted rain.
