    Braveheart

From your posts, sounds like you got farming all figured out as compared to your neighbors. Not to mention all world situations. As for dairy, sounds like you're obviously envious of their success! As you stated" They eliminate the competition from anywhere" Braveheart have you not witnessed what's been going on with regard to big business around the world. That's the whole idea eliminate competition. You yourself said your waiting to buy out your neighbors once they fail!! I guess it's ok when it suits you. What's happened to the Ag industry alone? Competition being eliminate everyday.

Dairy farmers are busting their asses 24/7. Good for them. I have no problem with hard working people being rewarded. Braveheart you shouldn't either as things like that tend to eat away at a person.

    Breath of fresh air, hardly.

I have milked cows. We shipped cream when I was a kid. I know what it takes.

Do I have it figured out? Not hardly. I hope I never do as that would take some of the fun out of it.

The more I learn, the less I know.

As far as the neighbours, I hardly know what they're doing. I am focused on what we have to do and it's fine. I watch my closest neighbour when I drive by in case he's in a bind, hurt, needing help, or has the open sign on, and cold beer in the fridge.

I love hard working people. I dislike attitudes that are envious, irresponsible, narcissistic, blame everyone and everything else attitudes.

A self styled "libertarian" who supports the dairy marketing monopoly. Surprise, surprise more like a Lieberal.

Haha. Surely you guys can do better. Nettie Wiebe used to have a lot more creative names for me than that.

Sorry Braveheart, I wasn't referring to you. Should have clarified that. Just having some fun with ForageFarmer.

To all the one offs and foragefarmers out there, I make no apologies for working for myself. We have fun running our little farm business. Emphasis on the our.

If you guys want to gather up little groups and meet in church basements trying to figure out how to be co- operatives, go for it. Just don't force me to be part of any schemes like the last one that shrunk net worth and divided the countryside into camps.

No worries. I don't require you in any type of co-op ,nor your farming philosophy to be successful at it. Doing fine by myself. Like I said, you sounded envious of dairy farmers, as they got it figured out on how to be successful.

All you have to do is buy a quota and put in the hard work and you there, nobodies stopping you. I don't here them complaining about your easier life style. The dairy farmer as you put "are working for themselves" good on them.

I think Braveheart wasted far to many good words to answer your original post.

Forage, reading needs comprehension to be a complete skill.

                      Braveheart

It's always tough to do when some people write and talk from two sides of their mouth.
