    Canary got dry today.

Surprised considering the pathetic temperature. Canary tested 12.8 at 5 PM. got tough at 6 PM, as in impossible to combine. A bit of hope. Love standing crops in October...

Waiting patiently for standing flax to dry. It pissed around here again this afternoon. Nothing really accumulating, just enough to keep things tough.

Yeah that is why I was so surprised. It was frosty this morning, then it was cloudy and damp until noon, then it got sort of sunny, then it finally got bright around 3PM.

It was even combining well until dusk. I never would have thought... Glad I even checked.

Freewheat. Is that on flax chart or canary chart. We consider canary dry at 12 on flax and 14 on canary chart. Some years it is hard to get to 12 on canary chart as that is very dry. CGC screwed this up arms claim 12 on canary chart is needed. Some buyers use 12 on canary chart and some use 12 on flax chart. Big difference.

Yup I got an hour in yesterday! lol. That was with my handheld tester which is well calibrated and has never let me down... Accurate little bugger.
