    It is snowing!

Well, I get up outa bed, and sit here with my morning coffee. Sun rising bright in the east. I sit here smiling. I look outside. Sun is long gone. Snow is falling, big time.

And I think to myself, why do I do this???

I'm spraying now but that last frost did alot of damage, this is the last tank of the season for me. I pretty much got all I wanted to do done anyway. In other words, no recreational spraying for me anymore this year!

Raining here also, NOTHING on any radar, like that shit works! Was zero at 7, so could turn to wet snow for you freewheat.
        Swaths were getting dry!
Most weeds froze here, could still get dandelion, thistle, maybe cleavers. Warmest day forecast at this time is Saturday, but windy!

Recreational spraying really! Look 7 to 12 days after open plants up look at roots ! Oh my it's killed 90% of the plants it's still Early enough in our area! A fall app does more good than a spring!
Still growing taking place! Just crawl on hands and knees and look if their dead then quit but in our area their still growing strong!

SF3, when it froze here after the last rain and there was a bit of water standing around it was froze. Some thistles here are DARK green/blackish and wilted, others look not too bad but not "healthy". To each their own...

Yes to each their own but my fields are dead in spring for a reason spray till it's not ok! If yours froze that bad and nothing is green then don't spray but with all the moisture plants are still growing! Even foxtail!

our experience is that it is never to late to spray . usually our last fields are the best jobs . even sprayed a field in nov. one year . we like to wait until we have a few frosts , seems to kill better . anyone not convinced just leave a strip in field . you will wish you hadnt left it in the spring . cheapest money we spend i think

what is everyones cocktail of choice at this time of year. We had plenty of problems with spray residue this summer.

1 liter of gly with 6 oz 24-D ester on canola stubble.
Used the case turbo till on the pea stubble - trying to eliminate some chem - the turbo till gave us 100% weed kill but now have a nice crop of peas coming again - lol
