    Now why can't the CWB tender malt and feed barley, as well as milling wheat just like the Ausies do?

    Wouldn't this information be invaluable to farmers, and obviously the AWB is doing a transparent and honest job of marketing domestically...

    Why is the CWB so afraid of showing current sales values like the AWB does, if in fact they are doing a decent job of marketing????????

    Is it any wonder farmers don't trust the CWB when they use every excuse in the book to avoid being accountable?????

    Charlie;

    The CWB says on their new web site...

    "The Canadian Wheat Board (CWB) is a farmer-controlled organization that markets all the wheat and barley grown by western Canadian producers. Based in Winnipeg, Manitoba, the CWB is the largest single seller of wheat and barley in the world, holding more than 20 per cent of the international market."

    Charlie the only truth I can see in the above statement is that the CWB is based in Winnipeg Manitoba...

    I am totally insulted by the first statement;

    "The Canadian Wheat Board (CWB) is a farmer-controlled organization that markets all the wheat and barley grown by western Canadian producers"

    And the CWB certainly doesn't hold 20% of the world market now, especially after they have pulled out of selling in the world market.

    Wouldn't it be something if Russia sells more grain this year than the CWB!!!!

    Isn't it very likely the AWB will market much more than the CWB???

    Since this information was just put up this week... and the CWB KNOWS it is not true.... shouldn't they correct the false statements they have fabricated???
