And with an OIC ritz could have changed all that.

Look nothing in the form of secondary processing has been built since the cwb ended. They had Katib in for a photo op for the bait. Now he is reviewing transportation issues. That was his play. Get on the tit.

And the graincos and railways are taking more.

    Wake the **** up.

And, The Cwb still is Not doing what they could do to arbitrage our grain market. Instead the Cwb takes money from every grain grower in Western Canada to build new elevator facilities and buy infrastructure all ready existing. The lack of arbitrage they depend upon to buy their new system... Is money in the bank for all the other grainco owners.

What a waste their building program will be if graincos end up with all your money and new elevator and infrastructure as well.

John Depape was 100 percent right... And Cwb managers are turning out to be patsies for the big boys one more time.

People are so Blind... There is no short cut to marketing!!!!!!

You guys realize it is an gift of money when they sell the cwb . The purchaser keeps the purchase price.

The cwb has had a billion in government guarantees but will be sold for 250 million. The asset base they currently have is in excess of a billion considering the guarantees.

Where did the asset base come from?

        But no one says boo.

You could buy the cwb and flip it the next day and triple your money.

That's what is going to happen.

          Tom

I will agree with your last post. The CWB Has squandered an incredible opportunity.

What are the chances that they won't be sold and operate like every other Grainco(yikes). The locations of the two new terminals at Bloom and St. Agathe Manitoba were chosen to likely feed Mission Terminal. And Bucket pointed out the one near him at Pasqua Sk can be serviced by both major Railroads. Doesn't purchasing GST and PWT ensure them west coast port access through Alliance Grain Terminal?

Come on guys, its not all that bad.

Whose money did the almost defunct SWP use to build their concretes and really never kinda pay back? No one crying about that lost equity?

I would say patterson adm and chs are the front runners. Not in that order.

Interesting it gets done during harvest.

                No real conversation about it.

The cwb through the government is paying the buy in fee for another competitor to have tea with the rest of the families.

Interesting history lesson everyone. But kinda proves the theory that nothing can be done with it. Answering the original question for Hopper.

Is it not a gift to farmers if you buy now. Thought I heard on radio if farmers buy the money will stay in the cwb. But if so is not right. It should go to users as of the next ten years.
