They better start adding steel bins. The concrete standing there now will never hold it. Heck the one contractor rep I talked to there said 9700 mt.

I'll grab some pics when going past... must be steel bins going up.

Hopper I only care about money in my pocket. Owning shares in an elevator company has historically gone very badly for Canadian farmers... I.e. The pools.

          Concrete section is 17,300t
Loop track. Guessing their plan is unit trains and keep 'em coming.

This whole cwb privatization stinks, nobody knows any numbers on what the cwb balance sheet looks like. Cwb is supposedly up for sale but the details arent available? I firmly believe farmers equity in the cwb is being transfered to a private corp behind closed doors.

I don't know how they are going to fill it with one pit. They should have 24/7 receiving. On at least 5 am to midnight... sounds like 8 to 5 right now?

Bg that's why we won't ship there unless their cash prices are above other bids... that equity may disappear in a hurry. I.e swp or manitoba pool shares

It'll depend on the house design. There are enough elevators around that it will never run full out anyway.

Not partial to any grain company. Competitive pricing first, friendly service a close second.

                  Daylate,
Wasnt he the big deal farmer in Hodgeville? Ag ventures 2000 or something like that. Somewhere around 1993 or 1994?

Selling the CWB to the highest bidder is a deal that stinks. Glad it got rejected.

The next deal will stink even worse.

What former prime minister sat on the board of a grain company?

                        Which grain company is that?

                        .......... just connect them.

I think you can figure the front runner for the gift of entering the canadian grain mafia.

no doubt FNA is a little on the greasy side but still dont like the lack of info regarding this cwb sale. Farmers grain is what built the cwb and paid for its assets now they are being sold off without any info available to the public.

bgmd; Absolutely! If the actions today were those of the board of the now defunct model, we would be crying foul, Agriville would be ablaze. However, an unelected board and an unaccountable process is occurring. Producers money, perhaps, rail cars, assets being negotiated and we are all strangely silent... amazing indeed. What was that Nixon said.
