Harper was hidden BY someone. In any country on the planet, they would have done the same thing: hidden the leader of the country.

He probably is more human than most other leaders or the cbc will admit, so he feel bad that he had to be hidden during that time.

A security guard was covering the ndp's doorway with his body for petes sake, and nearly took a bullet doing so, and that was Mulcair for crying out loud.

    Protecting leadership is serious business/

Of course they are going to try and keep them safe.

Thought it was Rait and CTA in charge of transport.
Canadian Mining Assn complaining about farmers getting preferential treatment.
Why all the bad mouthing Ritz?

                  Partners,

you do realize that Richardsons have a say in where their cars go they are not totally at the mercy of the railroads.

A little surprised the left on here can only find this to comment on. Actually surprised that I've heard no new mention of property confiscation ( guns).

Yes, but they always blame the RR when we talk to them...so who do you believe??

Only thing for sure is that the farmers are the ones that get the "Royal Shaft"...

I said earlier in the year that all the railway customers should get together and force the railways hand.

Ritz just gave the railways an out and control.

Partners that is because they don't have the the CWB to blame anymore.

bucket, in another thread you complain about the discrepancy between us/can durum prices (which agreed were out of line for a long time, but an informed marketer would not have sold into the canadian system during that time) and now you do not support the one thing that will allow more 'arbitrage' between the markets? There has been virtually no rail access to the US because of the OIC. There are always unintended consequences to legislation. Agreed there seems to be little long term planning or vision from govt with regards to transportation, but I also know that agriville would be the last place that whatever planning was being done would be publicly disseminated.

Without respect for property rights our economy can not prosper.. . Neither farmers nor railway nor logistical partners. We are All in this together.

I do not want to rely on government to tell our farm how to manage our assets... Same goes for railway management in normal business cycles. We are at back to more normal circumstances. Hope we will see reciprocal contacts from the CTA review in our logistics system.
