.75 over mpls would be 5.70usd which is 6.50 cdn.

So if you were really .75 over you should see 7.25 cdn net.

                Please wake the **** up.

And quit giving ritz bad ****ing advice.

                  Bucket

You won't get an answer from Braveheart.

I asked this guy how eliminating the Crow Rate has benefited farmers, and for him to substantiate why he feels Harper is one of the greatest PMs of all times.

Heard nothing on the Crow Rate question and with regard to Harper, I got some smart ass remark.

Not interested in history, or histrionics.

Bucket, the thread was what are people hearing for hrs prices. Those are the latest bids I was given locally. Some peoples' "dreaded" targets were triggered.

No, there isn't exchange factored in. Wonder why? Because they don't have to to compete right now.

Bottineau Farmers' (ND) cash bid is $5.02 USD. Viterra Boissevain (MB) cash bid is $6.50 CAD. (There are higher bids that involve producer cars). If you apply exchange to Bottineau you're only at about $5.67 CAD.

Canadian grain cos don't have to apply exchange to out compete the northern tier at this time.

I know where you're going with your discussion but I'm steering clear. I just want to give my fellow AV'ers the hrs bids I'm seeing here.

                    Foragefarmer, keep on foraging.

Prices are what they are wherever they are.

I like a simple life as much as possible. If a price fits my needs - profit, cash flow, etc I take it. If it doesn't, I leave it. Trying to unravel all the details of this vs that and oh no we're getting screwed, is too much work and drama.

I do like to know freight differentials because opportunities are there sometimes. But, I am far from understanding all of that side do this business.

I always want to know the basis.
