pardon the spelling, but do you think this guy deserves a pension, when convicted of criminal offence? I don t think so. those people are who every Canadian look to for leadership not only on policy but on the way they act. It won t change unless they get hit where it hurts which is the pocket book.

Dean was found guilty of having overspent on his election campaign in 2008 and of having taken steps to cover that up.
He resigned before being expelled from the house as he would have lost his pension. At age 55 it will be worth $44,751.02 annually, indexed to inflation.
Since the crime was committed in 2008, any pension earned after that should be taken away without question.
Lets see if the House of Commons takes action on this.

precedent set by liberal senator mac harb who resigned shortly before being charged with fraud over 5000 and breach of trust. the verdict is still to be given if i understand correctly. this happened at same time as senators duffy and wallen where in the news daily for weeks on end. strange the media has kept this case so quiet

Another of Steve's Handpicked right hand personnel that turns out to be a con. He was Stevies parliamentary secretary for a while too, shame.
