the share prices seem to be down. I would think with th the crop in the bin, and some product sold, they should perform a little better.
I noticed they have no debt. Share prices should be better , I'm thinking time to buy .

Loan sharking at its finest. INP is like having a 25% interest operating loan. They are hoping people get into trouble so they can get the land. Lots of farmers need calculators that work. A lot like ag leases 10 yrs ago with 10% or more interest while bank more like 5%. Well you got a bigger write off was the sales pitch.

hobby, this still doesn't sit well with me and appears to me to be "legal loan sharking". What is the true "cost of borrowing"? Is this for people who have no available credit left or maxed out and how does it compare to commercial borrowing?

Input Capital is covered and it has a bit of an odour to me.

They may have no debt but "Corporate Administration" is a healthy expense.

They currently have contracts with only about 20 farmers. In a few years if canola prices rise inp should be a big winner. Directors are major shareholders.

Looks like Warren Buffett sold off all of his stake in Deere and added to Suncor.

INP is government backed just like assiniboa was.

That's why they all have smiles on their face. Living the private business dream while suckling on the government tit in reality.
