I am always find it interesting Agriville has a great big discussion on durum prices and a $___ value is never posted. When you are making these comments, what prices are you seeing in the US versus Canada? Is it for the same quality of durum/same market?

When get done cleaning our durum for grade improvement, I will be heading down to the States and looking for a buyer. I've heard some good things but refuse to divest someone else's business I've been entrusted with.
When I get my results I'll talk.

A high percent of fusarium(10-14%). I have to try something, its complete garbage otherwise. Has proper bushel weight(and should get heavier after cleaning)and 14.8-15.4 px, decent color(no harvest bleaching). At least try to make it into something blendable. The prices justify it. I wouldn't do my HRS, fusarium isn't that high and price spreads are to narrow. Wish me luck.

I realize I won't get it all out and loose some good stuff. The Cleaner has a gravity table in system.

Most elevators have CLR sorters that can be set to take out a lot of the Fus.
Why isn't fus considered DKG if it can be removed by gravity table or clr sorters?
The way we assess DKG is the same as it was done decades ago. We have modern machines available and used. Time to get into the 2st century.
Good luck farmaholic and make sure your elevator assess it using proper procedures when you take in your sample.
