It is encouraging that farmers from throughout the Designated Area are digging up their sleeves and becoming involved in projects like this website. Once farmers become involved and get lots of information, they can make some good informed choices. So far, their choices have consistently moved away from monopoly control, and in fact this slow-moving landslide has been very lopsidedly away from the Wheat Board's mountain. This shows that farmers are not only asking for change from the status quo, but they want marketing choice. This same climate is reflected in Ontario via the Recommendations by the Ontario Wheat Board
