    Rent

What's land doing these days and going into spring? Are they being adjusted downward?

Rumours are one person here is bidding $100/acre. No special crops. Just wheat /canola rotation.

Not here in mb. Starts at $100, some deals at $130. Good luck with that.

Unless otherwise notified , I thought November was the deadline to change rent or renters.

Sounds familiar and stupid all at the same time. The only thing I highly doubt is that they are averaging 7.50 for their wheat.

Rent is driven by supply and demand here. That's it. There are aggressive farmers wanting more acres and there are limited acres available. Higher rent values ration the land to those needing or willing to risk high rental rates.

                          ROI is a distant second.
