Saskatoon Coop is always more money than Humboldt CoOp for chem.
How do I know? We custom spray for both of them... I'm not leaning one way or the other, both are good places, just when I pickup chem and see prices 1 vs. the other, Humboldt usually is 10-15 bucks less per unit.
Hopper, My seed price was without rebate. I'll call tomorrow to get the exact dollars and txt you, but thought it was 11.75 a lb.
In this area Lumiderm works awesome. Better vigour in the plants, faster out of the ground, and here any field that didn't have it had bare hills. I'm with Hopper 120% on that.
By the time you factor in spraying once (chem spraying) Lumiderm is cheaper.
In MB we never saw a cutworm in a canola field. Here, I haven't seen a year (in the last 4) without those rotten bastards.
I'm thinking out loud... maybe my price is lower because it's booked onto Agricard at pickup? Gives me no interest no payments till November... but would be a cash now deal for the them?

With hopper on the cutworms.. If you think you can find them all at the right time and get them sprayed, good for you... 8 bux is cheap when I consider the damage i have had in the past.. Found them 48 hrs too late and then rained and couldn't get on the field for 4 days. Game over.. Prices i quoted are cash no rebates. Just received another quote late this afternoon at $12.00 L252 with lumiderm. Price is getting better..

Agree on Lumiderm - IMO no diff than sclero resistant - run around on your hands and knees if you wish - I am done with that . What is your time worth ? And after 5 days of wind / showers while they eat away - been there done that - cheaper to buy it up front .
