I believe it is same place. Thought it was supposed to be fall price still availl today. I guess they are soaking me. Payment end june. I suppose the 50 cent divident payment wont even come close to the over payment. Just wait these seed prices will come down.

Bgmb I dont want to spend the time scouting for cutworm added to chemical is application cost plus the fact I typically have a cutworm damage before I notice a problem. Lubriderm does work.

Hopper you are paying about 3 bucks a lb more than me partially because you arent shopping around enough and partially because you choose not to take the time to scout your fields. So at 5lb/ac that's 15 bucks an acre.

I agree canola seed price is insane and it is even more insane that you would bay 8-10 bucks an acre on all your canola acres because you might have cut worms. Its going to be hard for you to make it through lean years.

fyi i dont jump from place to place every year to get the best deal on seed. I have a good long term relationship with a supplier who is fair.

Bgmb I have had damage one side of road and completely nothing other side. If you think you can find them and spray once then good on you. And I have been through the lean years. Sorry I am one farmer needs to use it. Maybe it was my rotation. Also I can say screw canola.

I dont jump around either. My one supplier knowswhat I am growing and what I intend to spray. If I go ahead with canola intention I will shop around and reighn my supplier in. Partial Reason for the post.

Fair enough on the lumiderm Hopper. You need to go in the morning and look for sawed off stems and cotyledons laying on the ground before the sun dries them out. Hard to scout for. My prices are before rebates.

rebaits...... so true, I actually dont pay attention them. If a cheque comes at the end of the year great if not I dont miss it. Gotta grow and spray what makes sense.
