252 at 10 bucks a lb or 500/bag there should still be a couple percent profit from back end programs I would think.

That's right girls and boys, trip over each other and your own two feet trying to secure the newest therefore the best AND most expensive seed that is in "limited" supply AND pay for it 5 to five and a half months before you even need it, instead of 30 to 60 days after you picked it up.

No wonder they get away with what they do, zero resistance.

I'm not "accusing" anyone of this practice but it sure resembles the model "they" would like us to follow. That is a game I no longer play. Has there really
been massive advances since the original introduction of the technology to reflect the cost of seed or have they just done a wonderful job of sslling themselves and haven't found price resistance yet.

I too have mentioned if everyone can effectively get their seeding rate lowered to even two thirds of the old recommended rate, seed costs will climb to regain their lost $/ac costs to us.

JD I wish I could sell you the 252 at that price with Lumi looking at about 600$ for 252 with lumiderm. And if guys are belly aching about high priced stuff ask for the value priced seed we do sell cheaper seed also but nobody ever asks for it because they think its crap if its value priced. Just food for thought guys.. And yes I will take M/C for ya for cash price money is money in my eyes.. The 1.75% fee for taking credit card is called cost of doing biz..

              Sure do,

              Brett Young 997 $410 ish
              Canterra 1918 $430 ish

and as far as invigor well there just aren't any in these price ranges.

Both of these are still OP types but still will yield decent for the money and you don't have to feed them like a Hybrid so your costs will be even a bit less.

I'm sorry but Brett Young is cheap for a reason. Their genetics are utter crap. Always have been.

What's Canterra 1990 worth? I love that one.
