Get ready for big changes

feel that monoculture and even GMO monoculture is needed to feed the world (LMFAO) can start growing hemp to make all the products we use that are currently made from fossil fuels. Maybe even make some fuel for yer tractors out of that gmo canola stuff that is so ****ed up it makes me puke.

Less need for wheat every year, especially since it has been altered so much that every other person you meet these days seems to be gluten intolerant. Probably more oats and it is still nice to include some barley in finishing diets for livestock. Looking forward to more colors in our Canadian fields from things like flax, borage, sunflowers, and the myriad of other plants that will mix in well in the new rotation paradigms of the future.
Less acres per farmer and more farmers per acre... Whoop whoop
Enjoy

People are too lazy to do that. Same reason hardly anyone heats with wood. I don't argue that it could be done but i doubt it will catch on.

Most people are far to busy working second jobs to make payments and have zero time for that

And a view of me without my tin hat for you bgmb..

You could probably feed them ther fish anything you want as long as it does not destroy their immune system or cause inflammation like most conventional multinational controlled human food.

when I read articles like this;

http://www.economist.com/news/finance-and-economics/21637379-hardy-investors-are-seeking-way-grow-their-money-barbarians-farm-gate?fsrc=scn/tw/te/pe/ed/barbariansathefarmgate

Makes me think we are going to need lots of innovation and new ideas. Maybe the the fish green house has a place.

How much does organic farming rely on conventional agrigulture I know this article is about organic farming but the same goes for all the fancy new systems. They have a place and they're great for recycling and re purposing food and animal waste but they can't exist in isolation.

Can't exist in isolation? May I suggest that this isolation existence could depend on how diverse the farm is.

Many organic farms are now growing into industrialised corporations. It is more about common sense and human farmers making a conscious living feeding people healthy products; rather than corporation, (even at the farmer level) profit and greed.
