i do not think there is not much new in those views.
what is the revelation or new solution that is being forwarded?

are we supposed to declare war on 1/4 of the worlds population based on their religious beliefs.

are we supposed to set up internment camps for people of a certain belief.

i do not think alienating the 90%
of a religion , that are not trying to kill us,
because 10 % of them are,

Maybe the real villain here is not religion , but money. and western money at that.

Fir your interest, in Islam, the following Surah 9 is current in 2015, and remains in effect
in 2015:

Muhammed's Last Will and Testament. Surah 9

1. No agreements are valid with idolaters (which includes Jews and Christians as explained in (9:30). (9:3)

2. Slay the idolaters wherever you find them. (9:5)

3. Do not make friends with non-Muslims. (9:23)

4. Idolaters (including Jews and Christians) are filth. najisun (9:28)

5. Fight Jews and Christians until they become Muslims or pay tribute in utter humiliation. (9:29)

6. Islam must be triumphant over all other religions. (9:33)

7. There is no "sacred month" in which fighting non-Muslims is forbidden. (9:36)

8. Using a 365 day solar calendar in lieu of a 354-day lunar calendar is a "grossly-impious" practice. (9:37)

9. Muslims who don't fight against non-Muslims will be sternly punished and replaced by others. (9:39)

10. Whether unarmed or well-equipped, fight for the cause of Allah with your money and your persons. (9:41)

11. Charitable contributions shall be used to advance Islam, among other things. (9:60)

12. Muslims are called to "kill and be killed" and for this they will be rewarded paradise. (9:111)

13. Provoking non-Muslims is a good deed in the sight of God. (9:121)

14. Muslims are called to make war on all infidels who dwell around them. (9:123) Pars

Oh the trouble with prophets.

Jesus was the prophet for Islam before Muhammed. Jesus had a much different message. Then along comes Muhammed, a warlord, and things change that much?

So the message from God goes from love, healing, forgiveness and compassion to intolerance after 632 years? Just because of a new prophet?

There is a grave difference, binthere, between a country enforced by Rule of Law, as opposed to Sharia Law. If a father killed his wife and daughters, and were subject to Rule of Law, he would be tried, and sentenced. otoh, Sharia law provides him with legal permission to kill his wife and daughters and any infidel such as you are, and...... yes, it's well within his right to do so. And his holy bible, the Quran, gives him the moral permission to do so as well. He will have neither a guilty conscience nor a jail term.Pars

When I see these conversations, I have to ask how many of you have friends who are Muslims? Have you asked these questions of them? My experience is they are more than willing to talk about beliefs and where the extremists vary from the main stream community.

I am a Sons of Anarchy TV series addict but I have to admit that watching the series makes me think that it is almost a recruiting video for motorcycle gangs and their way of life - it humanizes violance/people who do the deeds. Perhaps not to much different from what ISL uses to recruit.

Parsley, you are absolutely right. The bizarre part is that most of the Quran and the Holy Bible are the same books, and most of the Torah as well. Muslims claim the Bible and the Torah were corrupted. Corrupted by what?

That said, the Papists really tried to make Mary Magdelene importance in Jesus' life disappear. Rather than give her the equal footing of any other disciple they chose to label her a *****.

I'm just saying, Islam doesn't have the market cornered when it comes to stupidity.
