    Anyone here using video equiped drones,,

    on the farm to monitor fields for flooding, insect damage(ie; cutworm), waterfowl damage, desiccation timing, maturity for swathing or cutting? What else?

    I think most guys use them as a toy maybe do a few you tube videos, spy on the neighnours a bit maybe.

                  They have been using them to smuggle drugs across the mexican/us border.

                  It either got shot down the other day or someone fell asleep operating.


                  Guy at the lake has one - it's amazing how quick it disappears.

                  I think it would be great for farm pictures. You could get the right angle and see the picture while he is doing it.

                      Those don't look very safe. Some more substantial roll protection would be in order. They look fun, a hoot in the winter i bet.
