With the new rules for ordering cars imposed by the railways they can never be behind.

    Good timing after the fact.

    Absolutely earth shattering news.

Gust I applaud them for trying to do something but why isn't the Dollar difference been discussed and challenged by all these groups.

              1. Tie it to forecasted reported sales.

              2. Maybe more detail explaining the turns of the only 300 some elevators left in western canada. Most 50 car loaders won't have a report for weeks straight. Because they don't load a train.

Then explain a system working so well has elevators going months without loading.

              3. A detailed report as to the number of cars requested in relation to forecasted sales.

              4. Vessel reports have to match car movements.

              5. Space at export terminals.

              6. Prairie space reports.

                7. Rail cars sent to short line and excuses as to why they are not getting serviced. The 2 major rrs didn't want to service those lines anyway.

                8. In transit north south east and west.

Thanks for passing on this news.

Weekly performance reports are a step in the right direction, more information the better.

You do realize all of this information was once available on a weekly basis. That was prior to the internet. But the private grain players and the rr's lobbied like crazy against that because this much information undermined their competitive positions. So where will the AB Commission source their data from?
                    BTW, good bucket list!

All submitted or suggested to mps offices a long time ago.

I actually thought those implementing the open market would know it had to be part of the process. Thought it was a no brainer.

Instead depape gets a government payout to justify ****ed up basis calculations and why everything is OK.
