Could anyone steer me in the right direction to finding an app that would work on iPad, iPhone and MacBook for tracking your inventory in grain bins? I am looking for something not too complicated and would track starting and ending volumes after sales , etc. And would give on farm totals for each commodity. Seems hard to find , tried one called grain storage manager , but doesn't appear to work on the MacBook . Ease of use is fairly important . Thanks

Thought an app that would let you watch and blend to grade spec from each bin would be valuable tool.
I know there is some prod groups that have programs to blend all or certain bins on your farm to get your best deal.
This is also what elevators use to cut you a deal (in your best interests of course) and for their inventory control and blending to spec for their profit.

I used Agri Data. It has a grain bin app, and even can order those QR Codes for bins so you can scan the bin and enter in amount you put in and take out if you want. Gives me average of my grains during the year. Just my opinion. Works great for my operation, App just came out in January.

Their is a fee for their whole system. You sign an agreement when you sign up with them. Not sure off the top of my head as I have been using it for 4 years now.

Have you read their privacy policy? Like what they do with your data?
You do realize they know absolutely everything about your entire operation and with a bunch of farmers like you they have extremely valuable data that many are willing to pay a lot for? And you are just giving it to them?
Its why they wrote the software in the first place!
Just like every single flashlight app for the iphone, android.... Its only single purpose is access to your personal information, your contacts, your age, where you live, geo data, apps you download, pretty much everything you do on that phone. It's written right in that privacy policy that is never ever read!

So in the case of Agri-Data you are actually paying them to take your extremely valuable data, aggregate it, and sell it for huge sums of money because it is so pure and perfect, and above all, complete, honest and accurate.
A gold mine in the info world.

Tweety it works for me, if it doesn't work for you so be it. I use it to improve my farm by being able to track historic values of commodities purchased and sold, analyze cash flow, know and adjust cost of production. And of course I use a flashlight app, grain pricing apps and others as well. I use those things to simplify things. It works for me, let me guess that you must have a bag phone? I'm just presuming since you are so against every app
