Just tell them you are bringing in urea from china. The price will drop 100 a tonne or better. It's funny actually. LOL

China has a 2 year supply of fert in storage plus they are still producing. The world has a burdensome supply. This price fixing is disgusting.

Technically 5 weeks but who knows. Learning curve. A big one. That's why we only ordered 1. If it works I'd love to bring 20 over and sell it. Make 30 bux a tonne and help neighbour's out with 200 a tonne savings.

Why bother with containers. Why not a ship load. Shipping index is way down, ships begging for work. Where are groups like FNA on this issue. The 800 tonnes a season we use would be somewhat impractical buy container.

Fna is at 600 per ton 46 as of this morning. Pay today take home by end of feb. Not sure where it comes from cause I dont need any and never inquired. Maybe tell your neighbour about it. 46 was cheaper earlier so even agracity is likely raking in huge profits. Anyways shop around maybe 550 is still availl. Good to be careful with the container fert until you know what you have. But I sure hope it works. Containers seem to get priority also. Adm watson is one month overdue on rail cars.

What is the price of them minibulks. 40 bucks a ton just for the bag I thought. Could be wrong. 800 bags wow. How long would that take to dump into the swing auger. How much space 28 by 28 bags square. What if its lumpy. Or not meant to go through air seeder lines. Or has powder shit in it and very dusty. Lots of questions klause will answer later. Not realy sure if 400 per ton adds up for quality. Will find out in spring.

One container is worth the effort just to see. Even if it's a bit dusty or lumpy , at $200-300/tn cheaper, spread the stuff on in crop of next fall, not all fert "has" to go down at seeding. The main critics will obviously be local fert retailer's who will try to put the fear of god in people from trying this.
It may not turn out as planned but if things like this are not pursued it's kinda silly to complain about the current system we have.

Klaus, would like to get in contact with you as I am just working on this as well. Steep learning curve for sure.

Just looking again at the fna offer. Apparently its a one day sale. Good grief.

So I take it any manufacturer would gladly supply the urea at that price. And the fact the the fna fert plant is keeping only farmers in the dark. I dont know about them.

Looks to me like that plant will not get off the ground. Keeping info from investors is not good.
