do you think some dealers aren't already buying from China? I would be awful surprised if they weren't ? as far as quality, we have had fert so dusty it plugs boots when humid, all kinds rocks, pavement , trees , etc . in it from dealers already . sulphur so slimy when its humid that it bridges in tank , not to worried about quality from china, what have we got to lose ??? and try and haul grain back to them with that kind of crap in it , see how that goes! also they are telling us china takes half our canola , maybe its time to give some business back to them

Good to hear I'm not the only one totally pissed at granular quality lately. So bad I'm looking at the switch to liquid.

        ITS kind of funny...

local supplier going on and on about shortages. plant shut downs, yada yada. Bring up the NOLA price, or the fact china is sitting on 25MMT of urea and dropped or basically removed their export tariffs and they get very silent.

The way I see it, if it is dusty, we'll melt it and use it to top dress... can't be any worse than the shit my buddy got from cargil last year... it was the consistency of flour and sticky... and paid through the nose for it on top of that.

I used Chinese urea 6 yrs ago when the fertilizer prices went stupid back then. It was excellent quality product. No excess dust and no lumps. Green Prairie at Lethbridge had brought the product in. The problem was that it had to be ordered long in advance.
