the public does not. The poll of 3,748
members of the American Assn for the
Advancement of Science found 88%
think GMOs are generally safe, compared
to only 37% of a sample of the
general public. Two-thirds of generalpopulation
respondents said scientists
do not have a clear understanding of
the possible health effects of GMO
consumption. Another survey in 2013
discovered that 54% of the general
public knew little or nothing about
GMO foods and 25% said they had
never heard of them.

Not sure your point. Mine was simply to point out that with the move toward a generation that has never made anything hands on coupled with the social media phenomena, trust has been lost and a new naivety has evolved. This affects us all. Take ownership for your ripple effect.
