Conversation at the BOD table next meeting:

Okay, how do we handle this extra cost in increased wages? Charge the Shippers more or pay less dividends to shareholders?

Hunter; how about both, then higher "compensation" to us because we're so ****ing smart.

One thing for sure grain should get priority. At least we pay a profit no matter what.

Just don't forget which side of the House is married to the unions.
That's it! We need our own Union.

Both sides are incompetent. They have had plenty of time to put a contract in place.

Sleepy people on trains doesn't make sense from any angle.

                    Left right or center.

They are moving less grain this year than last year at this time. And with better weather.

                    No one pays attention.

No market works if these guys go out.

Basis or futures don't work without movement.

The hot coo at cp just said the strike will cost cp one cent per day in share value. Yikes these guys fry me. So a 365 day strike will cost cp 3.65 dollars in share value according to the coo. No wonder they have issues.

Oops its one cent per day on earnings. Little different. Latest report cp is ready for the strike. Upper management will do best to keep the trains rolling.

What is wrong with these people?

The Teamsters said train crews face "dysfunctional working conditions" at CP."CP is either unwilling or unable to comply with the collective agreements that require train crews stop operating and obtain rest after 10 continuous hours of work," the Teamsters president, Douglas Finnson, said in a release.Creel said the union is making "unreasonable demands," without going into detail. He was speaking at BB&T Capital Markets' Transportation Services Conference in Coral Gables, Florida. (Editing by Chizu Nomiyama; and Peter Galloway)
