Ok now a Strike! Ritz farmers have bills due March15 with FCC!

Mr Ritz a lot of farmers have payments due on March 15. Cash flow in western Canada is awful this winter. Some are coming off of 8 piss poor years. Basis is awful and not reflecting our low dollar. You have put in measures to study. Now a rail strike shutting down the grain industry and the basis levels will rise. Those that need cash for May 15 will now have to liquidate causing more grief.
Having FCC delay or term out the bills would help show that the fed gov has farmers backs.
Lots are scrambling and now this could crush some.
Just a heads up. Lots of emails that this date is serious.

Willy boy a lot of hurt is out their in east sask and some west with grades and crop insurance etc. guys aren't getting paid shit all after the deductions. I'm getting a lot of emails from farmers saying they are at their wits end. This strike is the final. It wasn't over spending it was shity crop on shitty crop on shitty rail service and unbelievable basis.
Those that won the grain lotto good on you but for every winning area somewhere else got flooded.
Now a strike. I'm just saying ritz boys read this tread maybe he needs a message. It's not about me it's about farmers that need help.

Atleast we aren't like Agertina where they call the Farmers loans in early to get them to sell.

Throw this into the mix, more business expected at Vancouver. Nothing says "morons" like striking yourself out of one of the highest paid labour jobs there is.

Yes!! A government sponsored input loan repayment holiday. Yup that's exactly what the market needs.
Let's blow more air into the bubble.
Let's term it out against increased land values.
Let's call big gary and tell him the Denalis don't fill themselves.
What in the F*** and we running here?
Businesses or a 10 year old hockey team?

So some guys will get culled. That has been happening everyday since they surveyed this no man's land and handed out a free quarter.
But let's get the government involved and order the working man back to work so we can pay for last yrs inputs by March 15 the next year.

I would like to see in the shed of some of these complainers. I bet it smells like new paint.

I'm sick and tired of this shit. Got grain priced, now wait to deliver and get paid. Now the ****in railroad goes on strick and pretty well shuts down grain movement so now I wait even longer for my money. Thank you Mr. Ritz for ****ing up agriculture. I'm blaming this peeon because ever since he became Fed Ag Minister it has been an absolute shit show.

I'm kinda sorta hoping for a stike, maybe CP will finally get a damn train to the local elevator.

Service can't get much worse than it has been lately.

I ain't complaining. But it sucks...

Get big, borrow more, be efficient be the best you can be then get the shaft. Don't farmers ever learn?

I'm close to the point where I just say screw it. Let them strike as long as they want, encourage CN to do the same along with the dockworkers at port. Lets get this over with once and for all with one huge cluster f@$^. We need a reset of the system. Let everyone starve.

We might lose a couple weeks, month at the most before the feds step in. The spinoff is too big from us for them to do nothing. Road bans won't go on.
