These latest derailments and fires are with the so-called safer cars. How long before the party ends. Maybe the RRs will be happy to move grain again.

Lot of oil going out of this area by rail. Heard a while back one producer was netting a million more a month railing over piping it south. However they're not shipping much now because the gulf price isn't favourable. Piping oil must be expensive.

Quite a coincidence all these oil car explosions
When certain groups want the oil pipeline. Has to
Help the cause quite a bit I d expect.

Don't think the pipeline crowd is discouraging rail. The new pipeline won't handle everything and there will be a need for rail. Don't matter how you ship petroleum there are risks. Our rail infrastructure can't handle the demand and the rail cos don't want to spend any money. They're milking the Capitol the govt gave to them. Need a govt with balls and foresight to just like john a McDonald. Minus giving away half the country to bring the entire shipping infrastructure from rail to port into the 21st century.

Those opposing the pipeline also most likely oppose bitumen oil. The likes of Al Gore, David Suzuki complain about this stuff while flying around in their jets. Give them a bicycle and tell them to sail back to Japan. If we follow the money much of these anti pipeline, anti fracking, anti bitumen, and anti anything are funded by the likes of Putin and the house of Saud. They genuinely fear how much oil is in North America. Sure it's expensive but we have it and it's a matter of North American security to develop it.
