I agree this program needs to go. But who is getting the money? Obviously those who are are not talking.

I would have thought that with all the guys who have made mittfulls of cash during the last several years, now with smaller margins, they would be getting payouts?

I think the trouble is, the guys who are getting money out of it, are the ones who need it the least; The ones taking long holidays etc. The reason no one is admitting to getting payments, is that it is plain embarrassing to them I am sure.

as a taxpayer I want a public listing of who is getting the money out of this program, names and amounts.

good point ,agrastability is public and govt money so should be public knowledge ? maybe it is , anyone know ? we got hailed out on all but 2 quarters one year , never got a cent . did get $13 k one year , had to pay it back the next , good program for accountants though

Get rid of all these ag programs, and put the funds towards an improved crop insurance program. Wonder how many federal civil servants who can get rid of and the cost savings.

You won't see our names on the list since 2004. And rightfully shouldn't have been since then either. With the new program calculations there is little hope now.

Agstability was a joke for me so never was part of it but am part of agrinvest. That may end thou depends what happens with govt cutbacks

Eliminate agri-stability, put those funds into enhanced crop insurance or Agri-invest......either one works for our farm.

It seems each government needs to put their spin on these programs because the previous governments couldn't possibly be headed in the right direction. The thinking seems to be the longer we can drag things out and shuffle papers we can appear like we give a s&$t and maybe keep those dumb bastards voting for us.In my opinion, we had what was needed years ago with some tweaking of NISA and Crop Ins. I never have enrolled in AgriStabilty for numerous reasons and have never regretted it. I have given up years ago that bureaucrats and the finance minister will ever get it right.
