I never stated that Islam or Jews followed the trinity, but both of them follow the same "God" of Genesis that Christians do!

Some believers of "God" branched out to follow Jesus roughly 2000 years ago.

Some believers of "God" branched out to follow Muhammad roughly 1400 years ago.

Muslims identify the prophets of Islam (Arabic: أنۢبياء‎ anbiyāʾ ) as those humans chosen by God to be his messengers. According to the Qurʼan, the prophets were instructed by God to bring the "will of God" to the peoples of the nations. Muslims believe that prophets are human and not divine, though some are able to perform miracles to prove their claim. Islamic theology says that all of God's messengers preached the message of Islam—submission to the will of God. The Qurʼan mentions the names of numerous figures considered prophets in Islam, including Adam, Noah, Abraham, Moses and Jesus, among others.[49]

Muslims believe that God finally sent Muhammad as the last law bearing prophet (Seal of the Prophets) to convey the divine message to the whole world (to sum up and to finalize the word of God).


Christians all know who Adam, Noah, Abraham, Moses and Jesus, are. They are the same people in the Bible, the Torah and the Quran.

You shouldn't be concerned about the odd Canadian who is critical of Islam, charliep.

Farmer Joe's intolerance has little influence on Canada if he criticizes a Muslim women who traditionally never wore a niqab in ME countries, but will take Canada to court, in a New York minute, to make a religious statement, even though the Koran doesn't require it.

And Mrs Housewife Jones is just ignored when she complains about millions of dollars being transferred from Canada to ME countries to support terrorist activities. Every year.

And wet-behind-the-ears Media bloggers learn fast that any freedom of speech to criticize Islam is quickly quashed by human rights lawyers who knock on their doors.

But their intolerance concerns you.

And I too, Charliep, have to admit that I have my pet peeves about the Mr. Cool type doing business in the back seat of a Canadian mosque, earning money to run an election campaign.

And I am intolerant of Salon Sally who dedicates herself to packing flowers, a guitar, and a bottle of wine into her into her Welcome Wagon to reassure hardline Muslims they don't have to integrate into our Western lifestyle.

boarderbloke - you may rightfully feel like charging me with dabbling in semantics, but in the technical sense your two statements in your two posts about the 3 religions "worshiping" or "having" the same God are not one and the same.

However you did clarify that somewhat in your later post.

It is of significance to witness the differences in the outcomes of the application of the major principles of each religion.

The only way one can do this objectively is to see what each faith through - its recognized leader - actually says and promotes and then compare that to what each faith actually practices.

It will prove to be an eye opener.

ISIS, as pointed out in the link in the opening post, is doing exactly what Mohammed called for.

The Jews are still, or once again holding on the the "land" that they and Christian Zionists see as the fulfillment of the Abrahamic Covenant. (Many do not believe, with justification, that that covenant has a literal fullilment.)

And the Christians? Wow, there seems to be a vast chasm between what Jesus actually taught and what they practice today.

It appears that the majority of Jews, Christians and Muslims are no more than nominal adherents (if even that) to their respective belief systems. That would be good news on the part of the Muslims, since their prophet incites them to violence.

Doubtless, there is something very unattractive about following the example of Jesus Christ who both taught and modeled a life of giving, serving and ultimately self-sacrifice.

But in the end, which road leads to the best outcome?

Lol,just pointing out some of the stuff our bible says is as crazy as the koran's,but granted and thankfully nobody takes it to the extreme like they do.

I don't think its fair to say we didn't have a partial role to play in the problem.

We have been messing around over there for a long time,it doesn't take a leap to get into the mind of man who watches our modern war machines bomb the piss out of his people,in a country that is incapable of manufacturing cars.

If the situation was reversed and say on the news tonight the town of melfort was wiped out by the liberating army of china,some would be tempted to raise jihad,under whatever was the coolest looking flag around.

But all that being said maybe the situation would be worse if we where not doing what we are doing,i don't know,that whole area is to weird and confusing.
