      2 CFL teams
1 nhl team ( as an oil fan it pains me to say that, although they've been improving)
Rockies, parkland, and prairies, cypress hills, big rivers including the peace and athabasca
Oil, gas, feedlots, coal, lactose, rodeos, oilsands, pickups, GMOs, gluten, fracking and other things that irritate granolas and liberals
A highway named after the queen
A significant (but decreasing) chunk of the population that will still give give the middle finger to intrusive government
Relative to the rest of the globe, fair government, although not as good as it could be

We were at a BASF meeting at Northlands in Edmonton.

Larry Weber hit it out of the park... great outlook one of the best I have been at for years!

We had Lanny Mcdonald as the keynote speaker... fantastic! He is a great example of an Alberta Red Neck... brought up on the farm... then he shared his talent in the NHL... with Don Cherry... Toronto.. and the Flames of course!!! The Edmonton Calgary rivalry...

          Taber corn,

Feb days when it rains... while Winterpeg freezes in the cold...

          Farmtech,

A great research community for Ag... many wonderful AB AG folks who really care...

          Charlie Pearson,

          Politics that is never dull...

MP Kevin Sorensen... the best MP in Canada elected with the largest majority,

          Preston Manning,

          A great livestock industry,

Wonderful irrigation works in southern Alberta,

          Alberta Dry Bean Growers,

          Sugar Beet plant at Taber,

Calgary and Canmore... with Banff to top it off!!!

          Ted Allen,

          PM Harper,

          Danielle Smith,

          ACPC, APGC, ABC, AWC,

          Alberta Canola Crushing plants,

          Wildrose Party people,

          UFA

          Federated Co-ops all over Alberta,

All the Sask folks who moved here to make our gene pool more moderate,

All the Ukes that make life so interesting,

All the Mormons who came here, work very hard and care about community and families...

          Fantastic sunny summers,

It rains enough most of the time,

A railway running from Hay River to Coutts, and CN and CP through the mountains to the BC Coast.

          Captain Tractor!

My family who make it all worth while!!!

          Cheers!!!

With Camrose crusher opening up... and funds long 40K contracts... it could be a fun summer! Are we going to grow 18m AC... or 23m AC. Will actual seeded acres increase millions of acres in southern SK... when they are as wet as ever?

Railers are hauling less than last year... and he had an easy winter...

The Rail cap... that gives the RR 6 percent ROI... who have never made more money... are holding grain growers at ransom... so Hunter Harrison can cash his big bonus $$$ while it cost grain growers billions.

Watch Russia and droughts over there... could have a major effect on our markets.

Drew Lerner is the best weatherman today. When his forecasts come out... they move the markets.

Watch the Hedge Funds... they can be manipulating our markets when they hold such large positions in our grain marketing system.

The world could be short of yellow peas by mid summer...

              Cheers!

Are there still no rats in Alberta? That would be a big like for me. Getting harder and harder to control here.

But no 4 legged rats. We actually have a rat patrol whose job is to keep the creepy little buggers out.
