    Great farmland and rural area

Whiteshell and Lake of the Woods areas are just beautiful anytime of year.

Lake Winnipeg 12th largest freshwater lake in the world along with the Boreal Forest.

    All the festival throughout Manitoba.

Rock and Roll capital of Canada

The Guess Who, Bachman Tuner Overdrive,The Watchmen, Crash Test Dummies, Tom Cochrane and Red Rider, Neil Young(a couple of years as a teenager) Chantal Kreviazuk The list could go on and on.

Cheap Hydro rates and seems to have the prices cheapest gas anywhere other than Alberta

    The people

Manitoba isn't prefect but I like it.

            Things to love:

I love Winnipeg. The architecture in the Exchange district is fantastic.

Turtle Mountains. Sitting Bull is buried at Turtle Mountain.

            Pembina Valley

            Red River Valley

Wakopa for a neighbour. And his "Happy Place".

            Historic Buildings in Morden.

            Our home

Transition of landscapes from the canadian shield on the east side (whiteshell is fantastic), then thru the northern extension of the us midwest, manitobas red river valley, fields of corn and soybeans, black rich soils, and then onto the escarpment past morden and winkler you enter the start of the the canadian prairies.

One day will visit churchill to see the polar bears and beluga whales, and the prairie's only deep sea ocean port.

                Biggest negative: speNDP government.
