it's mind boggling ,to say the least ? half the oilpatch is outta work already ! cheap fuel could of helped kickstart the economy , and the pricks have taken that away from Canada also . this government has lost touch with reality ??? and we have a refinery owned by a co-op leading the price increases in sask??

          BTO

I was watching the news this evening the price in Winnipeg went for 88.4 a liter to 99.9 a liter. The excuses being used are, decline in gas inventory, and reduced refinery output.

You ask what Harper is doing about it, NOTHING, he's to busy running Economic Action Plan ads on tv during every commercial break. The rest of CON MPs are nothing more than seals.

Diesel cost up .07 cents since I left. Oil stayed same at below 50 a barrel and hasn't gone up. We're screwed.

but i would like to know how they have silenced the general public?? you don't hear anything on this. no one even tries to say there is price fixing or collusion anymore . its just quiet , really weird ?? there should be protests in the streets.i guess it is unexplainable other than, you and your fellow canadians are screwed

The general public has become so passive in all regards. Look at voter turn out in the 2011 federal election 61%.

You would think with social media the way it is, protests would be easy to organize. But nothing!!

With increased prices the Federal Government makes more from taxes. So why would Harper say a word when all that matters is a balanced budget before the 2015 federal election. Your not going to hear a word of of Harper's mouth to this regard.

So with gas at the pump in Manitoba at $1.00/liter and a barrel of oil $50.00, does that mean when oil hits a $100.00/barrel again will gas at pump be $2.00/liter in Manitoba?

In 2014 when oil was $105.00/barrel gas at pump was $1.35/liter in Manitoba.

Looks like this is all going to workout just the way the oil companies had wanted it to.

Where do you guys think the equity cheques went?

They'll squeal when they feel the harder pinch. Things must still be ok?

Gas was 2.04 US per gallon in Great Falls MT this week. Works out to 0.68 Cdn per litre.
