    Canola

Little nervous Wed when canola busted through the 9 day moving avg(JULY15), but it's making a nice come back this morning! New crop up as well, do they have to coax more seed out of their sheds? Probably. Tell them, you'd plant more seed,,,but fertilizer is just too high to feed a canola crop, see what they say.

On the plus side basis levels cannot possibly get poorer. Could they? I have a basis target in at moment for march movement and dissapointed its not triggerring. Also put a feed wheat higher fuzz target in a week ago its not triggerring either.

If they want to sell their seed maybe they should do like the landlord has to do during tougher times.....

      TAKE LESS!!!!!!

Yeah right, and that will happen when the sun rises in the west and sets in the east.

      Cheers

The week old trucker strike in brazil has not affected the market yet. Maybe this morning it is. Bean oil up almost a dollar. We cannot get our shit to port any faster any way so why buy from us. Usa may get rid of some excess beans here and support canola futures. Brazil is behind in the bean harvest with some combines out of fuel sitting idle.

Did tell the seed guy that his comment was its like usa growers you need bushels to pay bills! So usa guy will keep corn and canadian will grow canola!
Me think traditional area will grow what they always do non traditional will see switching to durum, flax, lentils, etc! This is the group they think they have! If the spring is like this winter seed will not be picked up over their!
